22′ Cruising Catboat
A cold-molded wooden pocket cruiser.
The 22-foot Cruising Cat is built to the highest standards of wood construction. The hull consists of strip planks over a plywood mold, sheathed in a layer of fiberglass.
This design was very popular on Nantucket at the turn of the 20th century and into the early 1900s. Its sweeping sheer and wide beam give it the combination of traditional good looks and great stability.
The 22-foot Cruising Cat comes with custom finish, sitka spruce spars, strip planked hull sealed in fiberglass and epoxy, teak coaming and rails, bronze fittings including portholes, laminated tiller, traditional oak mast hoops, spun Dacron halyard and sheets, 4.5 oz. Dacron sail, cuddy cabin with berths, cushions, shelves and hanging locker, and Porta-Potti. Yanmar 8 HP inboard diesel recommended for auxiliary power.
